All the information you will need to help organise a V-Day event and/or performance of The Vagina Monologues will be given to you.

Even if you’ve never directed a performance, or organized an event in your life, you will be able to!

Most people have never done anything like it before, but enthusiasm and passion soon overcome any hesitation.

The V-Day commitment

First, all V-Day events must have a performance of The Vagina Monologues. These monologues were the cause for the creation of V-Day, and help get the word out about violence against women.

Second, Proceeds that are raised by V-Day events and the performances of The Vagina Monologues must go to local organizations that provide a service to help prevent violence against women.

An optional 10% of these proceeds can go towards V-Day’s chosen Spotlight campaign of the year (2007: Women in Conflict Zones).

Finally, by registering to do a performance you are making a commitment to V-Day. In return the V-Day staff will support you in your efforts by offering advice and help.
